ICCE has launched a completely new design for our communications to further enhance our information on anti‑counterfeiting. The new design incorporates the clean look of the print colours of CMYK to visualise what is at the heart of our association: the high‑quality printing experiences that all our members create. This eye‑catching look and feel grabs the attention of readers, from law enforcement officials to businesses and consumers. And it helps us to inform them about why it is important to avoid counterfeit imaging consumables.

The last few weeks have been an exciting time for ICCE, as we have just launched our new ICCE look and feel. The new design is made up of a clean, modern look that prominently features the basic print colours of CMYK. This ties our communications closely with our members, who are among the world’s leading imaging supplies manufacturers.

At the same time, this new and clean look makes it even easier to share important news and tips with our readers, who often range from government officials to law enforcement officers, and from businesses to consumers and corporate end users. This helps us to inform them about counterfeit imaging supplies and what they can do to combat counterfeit toner cartridges, ink cartridges, and printer ribbons.

New ICCE Website Offers Tailored Information for Stakeholders

Our website has also been completely redesigned and relaunched. The pages provide specific information and hands-on tips for our stakeholders. They also summarize recent news and updates from the anti‑counterfeiting work of ICCE, including information on upcoming and past events. In addition, readers can download resources such as our ICCE Authentication Guide, which helps to quickly check printing supplies of our member brands for signs of counterfeiting.

Communications is key to effectively fight counterfeiting – and to helping our stakeholders take action. At ICCE, we have a very strong position, combining the intelligence of multiple leading brands. Together we send a powerful message: We make it clear that ICCE members are committed to fighting counterfeiting. And we show that we are helping to protect and safeguard our valued customers and business partners.

Fighting Counterfeiting Together

The new communications approach will also enhance ICCE’s training activities for law enforcement representatives. ICCE regularly supports training sessions and workshops, fostering close cooperation with officials and enabling them to fight counterfeiting schemes.

Just recently, ICCE members contributed to two comprehensive training events for customs officials in Türkiye, for example. Such training sessions are tailored to the daily work of customs and law enforcement officials. They educate on counterfeit imaging consumables, the risks they pose to users, and how to spot them. In this way, ICCE aims to help authorities to protect honest traders and unwitting customers from risky counterfeit printing supplies.

Counterfeit imaging consumables are illegal – they ultimately cheat consumers out of the quality they have a right to expect from branded supplies. In fact, counterfeits can pose serious risks to users and channel partners. At ICCE, we are committed to protecting consumers and honest businesses, as demonstrated by our bold actions and initiatives.

ICCE Continues to Fight Counterfeiting in 2025

New communications projects for 2025 are already in the pipeline. ICCE and its members will continue to take a strong stance against counterfeit imaging consumables. Through educational articles and social media activities, we will keep raising awareness of the risks posed by counterfeit imaging consumables, now with a brand‑new look and feel.

About ICCE
The Imaging Consumables Coalition of Europe, Middle East, and Africa (ICCE) was formed in 1997 as a direct response to the increase in counterfeit imaging consumables across the regions of Europe, Middle East, and Africa. Imaging consumables include such products as toners, ink cartridges and ribbons. Initially created as an industry association with a focus on education, lobbying, information exchange, and awareness, it has since developed to include coordinating the role of receiving and processing intelligence information on counterfeiters, initiating joint industry raids and enforcement activities, and helping its members to target counterfeiters through the criminal and civil courts. Members of the organisation include some of the world’s leading imaging and printing companies: Brother, Canon, Epson, HP Inc, Kyocera, Lexmark, Ricoh, and Xerox.
